Safer form of urea designed for a better result
– Most cost-effective source of Crude Protein
– Ideal for dry feed protein supplementation, whilst also providing Phosphorus and Sulfur
– Patented inclusion of Urea Phosphate provides safety and stability
Why supplement uPRO ORANGE?
Lack of nitrogen (protein) in dry grass means that although there may be sufficient energy contained within the pasture, the cellulolytic bacteria responsible for breaking down and utilising cellulose are unable to do this as they require a source of nitrogen. Feeding uPRO ORANGE is the most cost-effective source of nitrogen currently available to supplements this requirement. By providing steady source of non-protein nitrogen, the cellulolytic bacteria are able to grow, providing additional growth factors within the rumen to other microbes before finally being digested themselves as a source of protein by the animal.
uPRO ORANGE is the ideal supplement for feeding during times of dry. uPRO ORANGE contains:
– Urea to provide a source of non-protein nitrogen
– Urea Phosphate to provide a source of 100% soluble phosphorus and additional nitrogen
– Ammonium Sulphate to provide sulphur as well as additional nitrogen
A water sample is always required to determine the buffering capacity of the water source that uPRO
ORANGE is to be dosed into. DIT’s patented use of urea phosphate at specific inclusions to provide this
buffering and stabilisation ensures that urea blow off is avoided whilst also providing a source of nitrogen
and phosphorus to ruminant microbes when ingested by the animal.
